Easy Gil For Low Levels

By admin On November 11, 2007 Under Final Fantasy FFXI Gil

Whenever you unlock a new job or want to start lvling a job from lvl 1, you can do this to get some decent gil.

Once above lvl 3-5 you can go to South Gustaberg (outside Bastok Mines and Markets). Here you can fight Walking Saplings at the trail south to Market´s entrance (around I-10). These have a good drop rate for grain seeds and vegetable seeds. Also, once above lvl 6-7 you can fight Maneating hornets on the mountain trail around I-8 and I-9. These drop wind crystals and Beehive chips. You can sell stacks of behive chips or turn them into beewax (1 fire crystal + 1 destiled water + 3 beehive chips [Water goes for 10 gil in bars at Jeuno]). Just gotta be careful not to agro gobs and quadavs, but these are easy pray once above lvl 6-7 so I should not be any problem

Prices on Ramuh for these items go around this:

Grain Seeds x 12 = 30k
Beehive Chips x 12 = 20k
Beewax x 12 = 60k

Plus you get to lvl low jobs. This can be done up to lvl 13-15 and still get exp so its also an interesting way of avoiding low lvl parties at the dunes.

For lvl 30, you can always go to Konschtat Highlands and fight bees and saplings for the same drops, plus take down any Tremor Rams and Stray Marys that pop. These last ones drop Ram skin, Ram horn – Mary´s Milk, Mary´s Horn

U can use Mary´s milk to do a quest in Sandoria for 5k (sleepless nights – Paouala (House on Squire Alley, Southern San d’Oria) [M-8]) and Mary´s horn is a rare Bard weapon that goes in AH for 400k.

Another option is Pashow Marshes for crawlers (silk thread) and leaches (beastmen blood), which also sell nicely in AH.

Remeber these are all prices for Ramuh server May/2006
