WarCraft 3 plays on a different level than most other Strategy Games. Its not very simple to play WarCraft 3, which is why it annoys me very much. and I can play damn near ANY RTS you throw at me.

Well, you’re a dumbass. It does not take a Scientist to figure out how to point and click. Also, age of empires is for retards.

You can buy the 3rd by itself, which was what i did, also, ask the store person about the warcraft 3 battle chest, you will get warcraft 3, and the expansion pack, which includes lots more, even like, 11 new heroes. its costs less to buy the x-pac than buy them both seperatly. Plus does anyone know how to make all the human buildings train Blood elf upgrades and units in the editor? i got the x-pac, i just dont know how to get buildings like they are in the FT human level with closing the gates.

In first 2 Warcraft games, the story for short was that orcs came through the Dark Portal and invaded human lands and destroyed everything in their path and humans tried to defend themselves. However much of the story and reason to this invasion was created during the development of Warcraft III and after. So if you decide to buy just Warcraft III, you can read the story of first 2 games and the history of Undead and Night Elves from Wikipedia or from WoW site.

Well, I hadnt played first 2 games before Warcraft III, but I bought Collector’s Edition and it had this manual, where all the history of previous events were told….there is actually very much history and story before Warcraft III, but in first 2 Warcraft games the story didnt play as great role as it did in Warcraft III…So I would recommend at least playing Warcraft II (and if you do, you will need DOS progam to run it, but it is not necessary.
