Old wow reminds a little in the Action bar and how they move about Age of conan. Vannila tho had the Epicness of it being a challenge to get teir 2 or Grand Marshal or Warlord.

OLD wow was soooo much better was actually fun and a CHALLENGE not frigin stupid wotlk where its so easy to get gear and people only care about fucking dps charts and gear score. i blame all the people that joined during burning crusade what a bunch of whiny ass holes making blizzard have to spoon feed them everything takes the epicness completly outta the game

I remember exploring WoW way back in the day was like a lifechanging experience, it was so amazing.

I’ll never be able to explore an MMO like I did with WoW again. Vanilla WoW was actually shitty though, the servers lagged alot, the instances had alot of glitching issues, but I enjoyed the theme better.

I’m not big on lore after they fucked it up in BC with Draenei, but I liked lore alot more back in Vanilla.

I miss 40 mans =( it took alot of work to get a group together but was worth it

WotLK BLOWS, BC wasn’t too bad but Vanilla WoW was the best WoW there ever was

Considering I have not been on for WoW for 2-3 Weeks, Its boring and I cancelled my Subscription, I only play abit off Xbox and Fallout 3

wow that was way cool

i played WoW from the beginning and i think its better now… get mounts at lvl 20 and get good gear alot earlier. And its easier for navagation and stuff.

Blizzard Entertainment announced World of Warcraft on September 2, 2001. The game was released on November 23, 2004. Development of the game took roughly 4 to 5 years.

So according to this info Blizzard probably started development in 1999 or 2000. So yes World of Warcraft was around in 2001 it just wasn’t finished.
