All these commentaries would really be good for would be describing to someone who’s never played the game what’s going on.

As spaceloner90 said, this guy misses the good key points that are ACTUALLY happening during the game (just reciting what you’re doing, and being bland at it), but as opposed to his sc2 commentaries, I can actually tell it.

I think sky won 2005 and 2006 wcg and lost the tripple to themuslim

For example 3:00 – 3:10 sky refocuses the targeting of the arcane tower in order to make sure his footman gets the last hit, and the experience. Meanwhile Infi also appears to be pulling back his archmage to deny it. These are the details a commentator would do well to note.

What COMMENTATING is is when you describe IN DEPTH the possible outcomes of the actions of a particular player, and what might result from it – you’re outlining the strategies that may be seen, as well as their possible effectiveness – so you’re predicting the future, in a way. Which this guy doesn’t do.

Commentating is seriously harder than it looks (as I would assume that he’s watched other people do it), and I don’t think that this guy gets that.

@spaceloner90 sorry if this sounds harsh, but out of all the popular sc commentators on youtube, he is hands down the least insightful. pretty much just describes what’s happening on the screen. if you mute him, you ain’t missing out on anything.

sigh, as with sc2, crota misses all the real highlights of the match and just talks too much about irrelevant stuff. The only difference is that with wc3, I can tell.

finally another wc3 game, please do more of them.. sky won 05 n 06 and came second in 07

Apparently you have never played starcraft then XD

love the wc3. starcraft races seem imbalanced. seems like some units are horribly difficult to counter. blizzard fail.

2:30 Cold Bolds. Ko-Bolds. Would be nice if you could mark your games somehow so its easier to see which go together, and if it’s a long game.. some people might not like the spoiler, but sometimes you dont want to sit up to 40 minutes and watch, and I hate leaving games halfway through.

for some reason i kick ass at starcraft 2, but warcraft 3 i’ve always sucked at.

Hey Crota have you considered doing a timer blocker like what you have for SC2? Even if you don’t shoutcast WC3 as often, it’d be nice to have something that matches the WC3 theme.
