Blizard said ”Fine, we are going to let everyone and their dog acces to epic PvP gear, so you cry baby have no more freakin excuses for being bad, but good players still deserve a way to stick out of the crowd”, and thats exactly what the 3rd tier of gear is, a way for 2200+ players to stick out of the crowd, optional visual upgrade

You must not read posts, They did the gear this way to make all players equal. Gear shouldn’t have a stat change. It’s an advantage. That way there can be no bitching about silly stuff like gear being unequal. Weapons are the only thing that are going to have a stat change for 2200 players.

@coolbeans0325 It isnt a bug, it has been posted many times. High rating just means the glory of having a different colour. It’s so if you win you can still stand out but you wont have better gear because people didn’t like it that you needed rating to get the latest gears.

blizzard needs to pick up on creativity on their gear it sucks!!!

90% of the 2v2 matches i’ve played (Holypally-AssRogue) have been against feral druid and frost mages, its getting super super annoying.

dontain, i went fury, currently we grinded to 1700 in 3s, farming rest of my bloodthirsty set during the weekend. and 2.2k during the next week

People bitched about rating being on gear so blizz made it so only t2 weps are different and the only difference is cosmetic from 2200+ players and everyone else. They made a post about this about 3+ months ago.

2800(cata) is the new 2200(wotlk) so it is really easy to get to 2200 rating
