@Varthian well, Blizzard made Warcraft 3. Warcraft 3 contained World Editor, used to create Custom games. Some guy(s) created a custom game called dota in Warcraft 3, which is a Blizzard game. Therefore Blizzard does have to do with Dota. No blizzard = no wc3 = no dota = no dota replica games (moba).
