The Darkmoon fair offering items that look identical to classic items that are used solely for transmogrification is completely idiotic. Part of the point of being able to Transmog classic items is you have is to have EARNED them, earned them in the way they were originally available, how cool is it to have classic looking tier pieces that you earned way back when someone can still earn them now. Stupid.

@nuttypenut He means the item you transmogrify and wear needs stats, not the item you are making your “stat gear” look like. Hope this clears things up! =)

Darkmoon tickets would be a terrible way of acquiring the gear before level 85 just because it would take months and months and months to acquire enough tickets to purchase said gear.

By the time you got enough tickets, you should be high enough level to just go farm the dungeons and get it yourself

I think trans is pointless. You can only make your great gear look like old armor sets that you have. What would be better is being Level 30 and matching your CRAPPY looking mismatched armor to look like Tier 2 gear. Otherwise I have to be a super high level and acquired old gear just to look like I used to 5 years ago.

Meanwhile, level 1-84 I look like the usual crap.

@liligman Considering you can solo classic raids “EARNING” stuff is probably easier and faster then doing darkmoon faire.

can i transmogrify cool items to look like 20lvl items? i really hate how 85lvl characters look something like Voltron..Tranformers.. or Power Rangers they look like shit.. so can i make end-game items look like some first-level ones?

@laxplayer2011 No, you can only change 2-handed axe’s into 2-handed axe’s, 2-handed swords into 2-handed swords and so on.

kinda confused. Can you turn like a ruthless axe to look like a wrathful sword? if there both 1-handed? etc? explain please!
