With the new patch, there have been the release of two new locked zones. The way that these zones are unlocked is through a massive turn-in that involves the entire server, and of all levels. Basically you need to talk to a War Effort NPC in one of the major cities, and they will give you a quest to talk to another person. Once you intiate that, the NPC will ask you to turn in different items. To obtain the item s/he seeks you have to turn in items such as rugged leather, rough leather, different herbs, tin and copper ores, and other items. This is a major event for all servers, so try to turn in everything you can. Over 60000 turnins are needed, and so far my server has about 10000 of some of the items. If you want to find out how much of one item has been turned in, just talk to the NPC that is giving the quest. Furthermore, there are a few new Silithis quests. One involves talking to a new NPC right next to the stable master in Cenarion Hold, in which you just need to travel to the Caverns of Time, which is in the middle of the far east part of Tanaris. Just look at the dragon, and then you get a quest that involves BWL. If you are in the guild that can kill the Broodlord Laylasher, you can keep going and then have the opportunity to turn in carapaces from the level 60 elite mobs in Silithis for faction etc.
