XP Sharing Bug and Exploit WoW
Long Range XP Sharing Bug and Exploit
As of the new 1.6 patch there's a bug with sharing experience with party members even at long distances. Instead of needing to be nearby to get a share, party members just have to be at roughly the same height in the world. If the Z coordinates match up, players will get their share of XP even if they're several zones away.
This is a great way to powerlevel lower leveled characters without exposing them to the dangers of a higher level area. For example, group your level 45 with a friend's level 60 when he goes out on a typical farming run. As long as you stay at the same height, you'll be leeching XP from all of his kills, even if you've never left town.
